Plastic Molded Concepts, Inc. offers you a broad range of creative plastics processing services. Our goal is to help you develop and produce injection molded plastic parts that fit, that work, and that cost as little as possible.

Product development

We'll help you move new products into the market as quickly as possible. We are accustomed to working with a wide varity of CAD data, drawings, or even ideas in the "cocktail napkin" stage. Wherever appropriate, we recommend the use of low-cost developmental tooling and relatively low initial production quantities. This enables you to bring revenue-generating products to market quickly, while minimizing up-front costs. Plus there's no sacrifice in part quality, function, fit or appearance.

Since our founding in 1975, we have helped our customers to successfully develop and produce more than 10,000 injection molded plastic parts and products.

Production

We can provide virtually any short and long run production facilities you may require, without the need for extensive capital investment on your part. Our capabilities embrace the full range of molded plastic production operations, including prototype and production molding of thermoplastics, thermo sets and elastomers (our injection molding machines range from 28 ton to 700 ton capacity); and a complete range of molding and post-molding operations, including in-mold decoration, precision machining, thermal fusion, post-molding decoration, assemblies and packaging.

Our process machines were specifically chosen to give us the broadest, custom plastic injection molding capability, and have been customized and upgraded to meet our performance and control requirements.  We constantly look for opportunities to apply automation techniques to eliminate cost.

Most of our customers require completely finished injection molded parts, ready for final assembly into their products without further processing or inspection.  We routinely meet their stringent quality and delivery requirements, including those operating JIT or KanBan systems.

We are accustomed to working in strict confidence with our customers. Your injection molded designs, models, prototypes, and production operations are carefully protected.

Unique Employee Training Programs.

We are particularly proud of the high caliber of our employees, and of our comprehensive five-year employee training program for our technical people, which we believe is unique in the plastic injection molding industry. This self-study course is presented through 17 technical courses conducted on interactive video disks. Although quality standards and methods have evolved over the years, our fundamental commitment to quality has not required very much change since the company was founded. From the onset of our operations more than 30 years ago, we have always employed GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures, and we have always emphasized a total commitment to quality throughout our operations. Today, our quality assurance systems can provide complete traceability from raw materials to final delivery. We are a certified ISO 9001:2008 company.

Plastic Injection Molding

Plastic injection molding is a manufacturing technique for making parts from both thermosetting plastic materials and thermoplastic in production. During the custom plastic injection molding process, plastic is injected at high pressure into a mold which is the inverse of the product's shape. Plastic injection molding is widely used for manufacturing a variety of parts, from the smallest component to packaging. Plastic injection molding is the most common method of production, with some commonly made items including mesh screens, custom filters and manufactured plastic parts.
